Born and living on the island of Mauritius, I have developped since a young age a passion for capturing what my eyes marvel at. In the same light, illustration has always been present in some kind of way, as my parents come from very creative and artistic backgrounds-- i remember spending a lot of time drawing when i was a child, then I stopped for a long time and just recently came back to it a few years ago.

 

In what I create, I hope to transmit the magic I can feel when looking at something, someone, some place, that catches my attention.

 

At the age of 13 years old, I had the opportunity to buy my first camera, and to practice until the age of 18 years old. I always had my camera on me and was always photographing everything; from people to animals, not to mention landscapes and nature. Then, after graduating from highschool, I went to Sydney, Australia, on a working holiday. There, I managed to buy my first semi-professional camera. 

When I came back to Mauritius, I pursued photography as freelance, and had the pleasure to capture a variety of subjects such as weddings, families, corporate, pregnancies and fashion to name a few.

Other than that, in my free time, I always make sure to inspire myself and draw anything that comes to my mind;

to go somewhere new and bring my camera along to immortalise moments.
